Whereas traditional petroleum-based plastics can last for hundreds of years, the EarthClear™ Degradables packaging line will last a fraction of the time in a landfill. EarthClear™ Degradables encompass barrier and nonbarrier structures produced from polyolefins that are derived typically from natural gas. These materials are designed to break down in as little as three years.
